Job Summary
The Home Health Aide is responsible for delivering personal care services to patients in their homes. This includes providing support with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and assisting with mobility. Monitoring the overall health condition of patients is also a critical aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing and grooming to ensure personal hygiene is maintained.
- Provide mobility support to help patients move safely and comfortably.
- Observe and monitor patients’ conditions, reporting any significant changes.
- Ensure a safe living environment for patients and mitigate potential hazards.
- Document the care provided in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program or possession of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
- At least 1.5 years of recent experience in caregiving is preferred.
- Ability to successfully undergo background checks and health screenings.
