Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Veterinarian to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and does not impose any non-compete agreements, allowing you to operate with greater freedom and focus on providing exceptional care to patients and their families during sensitive times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality palliative care and end-of-life services for pets and their families.
- Communicate empathetically with clients regarding their pet’s health and care options.
- Evaluate and manage pain and discomfort in terminally ill animals.
- Provide support and guidance to pet owners in making informed decisions about their pets’ care.
- Document patient visits and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in Michigan.
- Experience in palliative and end-of-life care preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for compassionate veterinary care.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
