Job Summary
The Paramedic plays a critical role in delivering prompt and effective medical care while transporting patients in various situations, including emergencies and routine transfers. This role demands a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical practice and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment and transportation for patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Ensure the proper upkeep of medical equipment.
- Complete daily documentation accurately.
- Follow all clinical policies and adhere to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts Paramedic Certification.
- Hold a National Registry Paramedic Certification.
- Current certification in CPR and ACLS is required.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an EMT.
- Ability to perform tasks that require physical endurance and strength.
