Job Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of resident environments. This position involves carrying out essential cleaning duties daily, including the upkeep of individual rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces. Adhering to established safety and sanitation protocols is a key component of this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident areas, including bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Ensure the cleanliness of common areas to create a welcoming environment.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines rigorously during all cleaning activities.
- Document and maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and activities.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and visitors to foster a friendly atmosphere.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Capability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
