Job Summary
The Environmental Services Aide plays a crucial role in ensuring a tidy, hygienic, and safe atmosphere within the hospital. This position involves comprehensive cleaning tasks in patient rooms, communal spaces, and administrative areas, contributing significantly to infection control and enhancing the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, and public areas within the hospital.
- Operate various cleaning machinery and equipment effectively.
- Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Restock linens and supplies as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is preferred.
