Job Summary
The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the facility remains clean and adheres to infection control standards, thereby promoting a safe environment for both residents and staff. This position involves various cleaning duties essential for maintaining hygiene throughout the premises.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to reduce the risk of infection.
- Manage waste disposal in accordance with safety protocols.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks as directed by supervisory staff.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or similar janitorial roles is desirable.
- Ability to adhere to specific cleaning protocols and procedures.
- Capable of performing physical activities, including lifting items weighing up to 15lbs and standing for prolonged periods.
- Must successfully complete a background check and fingerprint clearance.
