Job Summary
The Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of patient care environments, administrative offices, and communal areas within the facility. This position involves a variety of cleaning tasks aimed at providing a safe and pleasant atmosphere for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of patient care areas, offices, and public spaces through various cleaning methods such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Conduct terminal cleaning of rooms to ensure thorough sanitation.
- Handle linen and trash disposal effectively.
- Assist in rearranging or moving furniture as necessary under direction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- A minimum of six months experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills and capability to follow both verbal and written instructions are essential.
