Job Summary
The Housekeeping Aide plays a vital role in ensuring cleanliness and sanitation within the facility. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks across resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal spaces, all while following established safety and sanitation protocols. Maintaining comprehensive records of cleaning activities and fostering positive interactions with residents, staff, and visitors are also key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily housekeeping duties including the cleaning and maintenance of resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared areas.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety standards during all cleaning activities.
- Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and tasks completed.
- Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is essential.
- Previous experience in housekeeping is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to perform physical activities, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Capability of standing for prolonged periods as part of the job functions.
