Job Summary
The Housekeeping Aid plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the facility. This full-time night position involves a variety of cleaning tasks aimed at ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met across all areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of various areas, including patient rooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment to ensure effective cleaning procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures while performing duties.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in stocking and organizing cleaning supplies as required.
- Support teamwork by coordinating with other staff members to ensure overall cleanliness of the facility.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in housekeeping or custodial services preferred.
- Ability to follow directions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
