The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of hospital floors by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing. They must also operate specialized floor care equipment, adhere to infection control protocols, and assist with moving furniture as needed. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of floor care experience in a hospital or similar environment. Candidates must be able to lift heavy equipment and demonstrate a strong understanding of safety and infection control procedures.
