Job description
Job Summary
The HVAC Engineer is tasked with the design, implementation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is crucial in ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry regulations, while also addressing the specific heating and cooling requirements of various facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems to meet project specifications and operational needs.
- Conduct analysis to enhance system performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and project stakeholders to integrate HVAC designs.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC systems to ensure adherence to design standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems in existing infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards throughout all projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Proven experience in HVAC design and systems engineering.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to HVAC systems.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in HVAC software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
