Job Summary
Carolina Specialty Hospital is actively searching for a Sterile Processing Technician to oversee the management of surgical instruments and the sterilization processes within a dynamic operating room setting. This position plays a crucial role in promoting a sterile environment, ensuring that all surgical instruments are correctly prepared and readily available to facilitate seamless surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments and other equipment.
- Support the implementation of aseptic techniques within the operating room.
- Ensure the timely availability of instruments to promote efficient surgical operations.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience or certification in sterile processing or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team within the OR.
