Perform dimensional and visual inspections of electronic assemblies, wiring, and cable harnesses during final assembly and test, verifying conformance to drawings, work instructions, customer requirements, and workmanship standards. Document inspection results in ERP/MES, manage nonconforming material and NCRs, conduct First Article Inspections, and communicate quality issues while supporting corrective actions and quality-system requirements. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing. Candidates should know relevant IPC workmanship standards, use precision measuring tools and microscopes, interpret drawings and work instructions, perform First Article Inspections and write NCRs, and be familiar with ERP/MES, ESD controls, and ISO 9001 and/or AS9100.
