Job Summary
The Indirect Lending Underwriter I plays a crucial role in the assessment and approval of a significant volume of indirect loan applications, ensuring that credit quality standards are upheld. This position involves working closely with dealership personnel to address and rectify any application-related concerns while adhering to established lending policies.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and make decisions on a high volume of indirect loan applications.
- Maintain the integrity of credit quality during the underwriting process.
- Work collaboratively with dealership staff to resolve any application issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant lending policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in loan underwriting or processing is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong understanding of loan regulations is essential.
