Job Summary
The Indirect Procurement Buyer is responsible for overseeing the procurement of indirect goods and services for the organization. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders to ensure the procurement process aligns with the company’s strategic objectives while maximizing cost efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for indirect spend categories.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies in collaboration with key departments.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Analyze procurement data to inform decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on operational efficiency.
