Overview of the Industrial Maintenance Manager Role:
Oversee the upkeep and repair of industrial manufacturing machinery, placing particular emphasis on injection molding equipment. Ensure that plant systems and facilities function safely and effectively through comprehensive electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
Key Responsibilities for the Industrial Maintenance Manager:
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.
Install, manage, troubleshoot, and fix electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Utilize machine tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders for part fabrication and repairs.
Qualifications Required:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams; able to troubleshoot AC/DC circuits effectively.
Thorough understanding of mechanical processing methods, tools, and materials.
Skillful in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including relevant components like pumps, valves, and cylinders.
Must have the physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, maintain a standing position for extended periods, and adapt to varying work environments.
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with injection molding machinery.
Advanced skills in troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
Experienced in machine fabrication and part repair techniques using lathes, mills, and grinders.
