Job description
Job Summary
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the sanitation operations within a facility, ensuring that all cleanliness and safety standards are met. This role includes leading a team, managing sanitation protocols, and complying with health regulations to maintain a pristine and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate sanitation operations and staff within the facility.
- Develop and implement effective sanitation procedures and protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Provide training and guidance to staff regarding sanitation best practices.
- Ensure proper inventory management of sanitation supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain overall facility hygiene.
- Document and report sanitation activities and incidents as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sanitation or cleaning operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sanitation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
