Job Summary
The internship position focuses on creating fixtures for automated grinding systems while programming CNC machines to improve manufacturing productivity. Additionally, the role encompasses the application of Lean manufacturing techniques and the evaluation of equipment performance to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Design fixtures for automated grinding systems.
- Program CNC machines to boost manufacturing efficiency.
- Implement Lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Analyze the effectiveness of equipment to identify opportunities for reducing downtime.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, or senior in a bachelor’s degree program related to engineering.
- Capability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
