Job Overview for Infrastructure Portfolio Manager
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Portfolio Manager who excels in planning, coordinating, and executing water or wastewater infrastructure initiatives, encompassing engineering assessments, permitting processes, contract administration, and oversight of construction activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaboration skills, enabling them to work effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and external partners to mitigate project risks, formulate cost and schedule estimates, and facilitate data-driven decision-making. A solid background in project planning, stakeholder engagement, and familiarity with relevant industry software is essential for achieving successful outcomes that align with both client and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Portfolio Manager

  • Lead and organize engineering assessments and research initiatives to fulfill the objectives of the organization and its clients.
  • Draft contracts, create preliminary cost and schedule projections, secure necessary permits, negotiate landowner agreements, and build relationships with utility providers, while managing oversight of construction phases.
  • Assist clients by leveraging cross-disciplinary tools, insights, and expertise to navigate all stages of infrastructure projects alongside diverse client teams.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to collect and structure data and analytics that contribute to the enhancement of company-owned or managed SAAS tools.
  • Prepare projects and programs for success through an effective risk management strategy in development planning.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications for Infrastructure Portfolio Manager

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience is required for this position.

  • Experience and proficiency in industry-standard software and tools related to water or wastewater management.
