Job Summary
The Infusion Coordinator plays a crucial role in the effective management of patient service deliveries and pharmacy operations. This position involves coordinating with nursing and pharmacy teams to facilitate new admissions while ensuring that logistical processes run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient deliveries with attention to timeliness and efficiency.
- Oversee pharmacy inventory to maintain sufficient stock levels.
- Facilitate coordination of new admissions alongside nursing and pharmacy personnel.
- Supervise delivery technicians to ensure adherence to protocols and standards.
- Ensure compliance with quality control measures and billing documentation within the pharmacy.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Candidates must be a certified pharmacy technician.
- At least three years of experience in aseptic preparation is necessary.
- Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in data entry are essential.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is required.
