Job Summary
The role involves overseeing and evaluating patients who are undergoing infusion therapy. The professional in this position will need to react to any changes in patient conditions, advocate for their well-being, and ensure effective communication with both patients and the nursing team. Additionally, this role entails providing IV therapy and upholding clinical documentation in line with legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients receiving infusion therapy.
- Assess changes in patient conditions and respond appropriately.
- Advocate for patient care and communicate effectively with patients and the nursing staff.
- Administer IV therapy as required.
- Maintain clinical records ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Proficient IV skills.
- Current CPR certification.
- Possession of an approved nursing education credential.
- Ability to pass annual competency assessments and undergo background and drug screenings.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
