Job Summary
The internship role involves working closely with engineering and design teams to develop comprehensive SOLIDWORKS models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials essential for the production of retail fixtures. The intern will engage in prototype testing, ensure proper documentation is maintained, and assist in achieving project goals across multiple departments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to produce detailed SOLIDWORKS models and drawings.
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials for retail fixture manufacturing.
- Participate in testing prototypes to evaluate their functionality and design.
- Ensure documentation is precise and up-to-date.
- Support various project objectives and collaborate across departments.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in CAD, Engineering, or Mechanical Design.
- Familiarity and experience with SOLIDWORKS software.
- Strong communication abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
