Job Summary
The Interventional Radiology Technician plays a crucial role in the healthcare team by providing support during interventional radiological procedures. This position is integral to ensuring that each procedure runs smoothly and safely for the patient.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in performing interventional procedures.
- Prepare and maintain radiological equipment for procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to any changes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Strong understanding of radiological safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
