Job description
**Job Title: IT Laboratory Specialist**
The IT Laboratory Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for IT assistance related to laboratory instruments, oversees computer systems, and supports end-users with LIMS software. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network connections, and guaranteeing uninterrupted service across various laboratory locations. Ideal candidates should have a blend of laboratory and IT knowledge, including a minimum of one year of experience in a lab setting or a relevant science degree, along with two years of IT support background. Additionally, applicants must successfully complete a background check to acquire Public Trust clearance and exhibit strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
