Job Summary
The IT Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the network infrastructure of the College located in Wheeling, Illinois. This role involves ensuring the integrity and safety of the networking systems, managing user access, and collaborating with the Director of IT to enhance operational capabilities. A strong emphasis is placed on implementing effective cybersecurity measures to protect the network from threats.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and oversee the College’s network infrastructure.
- Ensure secure networking systems and manage user access efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Director of IT to support operational needs.
- Implement and uphold strong cybersecurity practices to protect the network.
Qualifications
- A degree or relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in network administration and management.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
