Job Summary
The IT Project Portfolio Analyst Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the project portfolio within the IT department. This position is responsible for facilitating project prioritization, resource allocation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The lead analyst will also support the enhancement of project management processes and tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the evaluation and prioritization of IT projects to align with strategic objectives.
- Manage resource allocation and ensure optimal use of team capabilities.
- Develop and maintain project portfolio metrics and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.
- Support the continual improvement of project management methodologies and practices within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT project management or portfolio management.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with project management software and reporting tools.
