Job Summary
The Junior Telemetry Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground station equipment related to telemetry, as well as RF and SAT communications systems. This role is crucial in supporting mission operations and executing physical installation tasks, all under the guidance of more experienced staff.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain telemetry ground station equipment and related communications systems.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise with RF and SAT communications systems.
- Support mission operations by ensuring all systems function effectively.
- Assist with physical installation tasks as directed by senior technicians.
Qualifications
- An associate degree or two years of technical education in electronics, or equivalent military training.
- Previous experience with telemetry ground station equipment and RF/SAT communications systems is necessary.
