Job Summary
The Lab Supervisor 2 is responsible for overseeing laboratory assays, ensuring adherence to Good Practice (GxP) standards, and managing the daily operations as well as the performance of laboratory personnel. This role involves scientific documentation, conducting root cause analyses, and ensuring all laboratory equipment remains in a validated condition.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of laboratory assays.
- Ensure compliance with GxP regulations.
- Manage daily laboratory operations and staff performance.
- Handle scientific documentation tasks.
- Conduct investigations to determine root causes of issues.
- Maintain laboratory equipment in a validated state.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with over 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with more than 4 years of relevant experience in a scientific field.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including staff leadership and training in a laboratory environment.
