Job description
Job Summary
The Lab Technician is entrusted with performing various laboratory tasks that support scientific research and development efforts. This role is vital in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of experimental data while maintaining high standards of safety and quality in the laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare samples and perform analyses to assist scientists with research projects.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all findings accurately and maintain clear records of laboratory activities.
- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with team members and report results to senior researchers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a relevant scientific field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and software.
