Job Summary
The Lab Technician plays a vital role within the laboratory environment, responsible for conducting various tests and experiments while ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. This position is essential for supporting the scientific team in delivering accurate and reliable results.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Document and analyze test results, communicating findings to appropriate personnel.
- Assist in the development of new testing methods and protocols as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in a relevant scientific field.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment and follow technical procedures accurately.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and quality assurance processes.
