Job description
Job Summary
The Lab Technician plays a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations by conducting various tests and experiments to acquire accurate results. This individual will assist in research and development projects, maintain equipment, and ensure adherence to protocol and safety standards within the laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and tests according to established protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning of tools.
- Document test results and maintain accurate records for review and analysis.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the preparation of lab samples and reagents.
- Collaborate with team members on research projects and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Laboratory Technology or a related field is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory setting is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
