Job description
Job Summary
The Lab Technician will play a vital role in supporting laboratory operations by conducting a variety of tests and experiments as well as maintaining laboratory equipment. This position ensures high standards of quality control and adherence to safety protocols while assisting in the preparation of samples and analysis of results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct experiments and perform tests to obtain reliable data.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it functions correctly.
- Prepare samples and reagents for analysis.
- Document and report findings in accordance with laboratory protocols.
- Assist in quality control and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
