Job description
Job Summary
The Lab Technician plays a vital role in the efficient operation of a laboratory setting. The individual will be responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring that all equipment and materials are maintained to the highest standards of accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct various laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with established protocols.
- Analyze and interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all materials comply with safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of new testing methods and procedures.
- Document all procedures and results accurately for review and compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a relevant scientific field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and technology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
