Labor and Delivery RN
Location: Cleveland, OH
Pay: $1944/week The Labor and Delivery Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to pregnant patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate recovery period. This role involves monitoring maternal and fetal health, administering medications, assisting physicians or midwives during delivery, and offering emotional support to patients and families. Labor and Delivery RN Key Responsibilities:
Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate
Perform cervical exams and assess labor progression
Administer medications (e.g., Pitocin, epidurals)
Start IV lines and manage fluids
Recognize and respond to obstetric emergencies
Labor and Delivery RN Requirements:
Active OH or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
18 mos of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required; 18 mos of PERM Labor and Delivery RN experience prior to travel
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
