Job Summary
The Laboratory Analyst II plays a crucial role in the preparation and analysis of environmental samples, utilizing both standard and advanced scientific techniques in alignment with quality assurance protocols. This position requires meticulous attention to detail in tasks, including the calibration of instruments, data validation, and the management of results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze environmental samples through various scientific methods.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs.
- Conduct instrument calibration and validate data to maintain accuracy.
- Upload analytical results into the LIMS system for tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related discipline, or at least 3 years of applicable laboratory experience.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience with GC/MS instruments.
- Two years of experience in executing routine laboratory procedures.
