Job Summary
The Laboratory Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting laboratory activities by performing various tasks that ensure efficient operations. This position is essential for maintaining a safe and organized environment within the lab, assisting researchers and scientists in their experiments and studies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assess lab materials and equipment for experiments.
- Assist in conducting tests and documenting results meticulously.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and notify when stocks are low.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Support the laboratory team in research projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
