Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician supports laboratory operations by conducting tests, managing samples, and ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and tools. This role is essential for upholding quality standards and facilitating research and diagnostics processes within the laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols.
- Prepare and manage samples, ensuring accurate labeling and storage.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and assist in troubleshooting issues.
- Document findings and assist in compiling reports on laboratory results.
- Follow safety and compliance regulations to uphold a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- A degree in laboratory science, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
