Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a vital role in supporting scientific research and development by conducting tests and analyses within a laboratory setting. This position is essential for maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring the accuracy of results, ultimately contributing to the success of various projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of tests and experiments following established protocols.
- Prepare and analyze samples, documenting results and procedures accurately.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing findings.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific field, such as biology or chemistry.
- Proven experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
