Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations by performing various technical tasks, handling equipment, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory results. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills to contribute to scientific research and experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is functioning properly.
- Calibrate instruments to maintain accuracy in results.
- Assist in research projects by collecting and analyzing data.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the laboratory environment.
- Document findings and maintain clear records of all laboratory activities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
