Job description
Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in the collection, analysis, and reporting of laboratory samples. This position is responsible for ensuring that all laboratory work adheres to the highest standards of quality and safety, while maintaining accurate records and communication with team members and other departments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and experiments as per protocols.
- Ensure the proper handling and processing of samples.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory.
- Document results and prepare reports for review.
- Comply with health and safety regulations within the laboratory setting.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in laboratory technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a laboratory technician or similar role.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
