Job description
Job Summary
The Laboratory Technician plays a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations through various tasks. This position involves troubleshooting equipment, preparing and analyzing specimens, as well as maintaining accurate records of laboratory activities. The technician will work closely with other staff to ensure efficient processes and high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample preparation and analysis under the supervision of senior staff.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Document all laboratory procedures and results promptly and accurately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the lab environment.
- Assist in quality control measures and contribute to lab audits.
Qualifications
- Possess a degree or certification in a relevant scientific field.
- Have hands-on experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
