Job description
Job Summary
The Landscape Architect will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing landscape projects that enhance outdoor spaces. This role involves working closely with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments, ensuring the integration of ecological and sustainable practices into design proposals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for landscape projects.
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs, plans, and specifications.
- Review and analyze site conditions to create designs that optimize use of space.
- Prepare presentation materials for client approvals and stakeholder meetings.
- Oversee the implementation of design projects, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Incorporate sustainable practices into landscape designs to promote environmental health.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Licensure as a Landscape Architect may be required.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong creative and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Experience in ecologically sustainable design practices is a plus.
