Job Summary
The Landscape Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and developing outdoor spaces, emphasizing environmental sustainability and aesthetic appeal. This position involves collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and team members to create innovative landscape solutions that enhance the natural environment and comply with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed landscape design plans and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments to understand environmental constraints and opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to determine project goals and ensure alignment with vision.
- Research current trends and technologies in landscape architecture.
- Prepare presentations and drawings to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while adhering to client expectations.
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals during the implementation phase.
- Ensure landscapes are designed in accordance with all zoning laws and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Licensure as a Landscape Architect is preferred or in-progress.
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in project management is a plus.
