Job Summary
The Laser Engraving Technician is responsible for programming, configuring, and managing laser engraving machines for the processing of diverse materials, adhering to specified drawings. This role also emphasizes routine maintenance of the equipment and quality assurance by conducting detailed inspections of the completed parts.
Responsibilities
- Program and set up laser engraving machines to accurately process materials based on specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct thorough quality control inspections of finished components to guarantee adherence to standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a machinist role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong technical capability in interpreting drawings and understanding Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Adept in operating manual machining tools.
