Job description
The Laundry Worker plays a vital role in a long-term care facility by gathering, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens as well as personal garments. This position involves the safe operation of laundry machinery, the upkeep of activity logs, and strict compliance with infection control measures and universal safety protocols. While a high school diploma or equivalent is required, prior experience in laundry services is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate the physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and maintain a standing position for prolonged durations.
