Job Summary
The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care to patients while also handling various administrative duties essential for the smooth operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assist in direct patient care activities such as rooming patients.
- Administer injections and perform blood draws as required.
- Manage documentation and scheduling of appointments.
- Process prior authorizations to facilitate patient care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid medical assisting certification.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical setting.
