The Lead Direct Support Professional is responsible for mentoring and guiding staff members while maintaining exceptional care standards and adherence to program requirements. This role involves supporting residents in developing daily living skills, enhancing their health and wellness, and encouraging community engagement to foster independence. Applicants should be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver’s license. Additionally, a minimum of three years of experience as a Direct Support Professional with clients who have behavioral needs is necessary, and prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
