Job description
**Job Title: Lead Direct Support Professional**
The Lead Direct Support Professional delivers hands-on care, mentorship, and assistance to individuals with disabilities, fostering independence and active participation in the community. This role also involves taking charge during shifts, overseeing incident documentation, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and health regulations. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 months of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) or Mental Health (MH) challenges. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or Licensed Psychiatric Technician status is mandatory, or it must be acquired within 60 days of starting employment.
