Job Summary
The Lead Systems Engineer — DevOps & Infrastructure role based in Columbia, Maryland, is essential for overseeing and enhancing our infrastructure systems. This position requires a depth of knowledge in DevOps practices and aims to drive improvements in the efficiency and reliability of our systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of infrastructure solutions using DevOps methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks to streamline operations.
- Identify areas for system enhancements and proactively address them.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or approximately 10 years with a Master’s degree.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
