The Legal Counsel will serve as the main legal advisor to the Guernsey boards, offering guidance on fiduciary responsibilities, regulatory compliance, and governance issues. This position also includes overseeing legal risks, mentoring junior legal professionals, and working with various global jurisdictions to assist the General Counsel. Applicants should be qualified attorneys with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience, ideally within common law environments. A solid understanding of commercial dynamics, sound judgement, and familiarity with fiduciary or financial service sectors are crucial for success in this role.
